It’s becoming pretty apparent that some folks on your platform are simply spamming the site with ideas, without any intention of developing them, or providing feedback vis. comments and questions (i.e. they’re low/no interactivity). Obvious ulterior motives are those clearly promoting their blogs and podcasts (we all know who they are). This creates a lot of noise on the platform, is a time waster, and detracts from the value of the site.
I’d love to see more emphasis placed on weighting votes based on more meaningful value-add metrics (such as interactivity/responsivenes, and “execution”).
It’s easy to create highly clickable, spammy content (e.g. I have a great idea for a robot that has a voracious appetite for sex, can cook, and will keep your house clean - with a projected $9.99 price point)…… I’m sure I’d garner a lot of upvotes, but………… (you get my point).
